The Client
David Davies & Sons Ltd – Funeral Directors.
The Brief
Sometimes a subtle approach is required, and this was the case when we started working with well-established, family run funeral directors David Davies & Sons. They asked us to review their website and advise them on how best to update it without losing their tone of voice – this was really important to them.
As a business with roots in the region for over 180 years, they are a well known service in the community locally – but we could see that a subtle shift in focus on a new website would improve the visitor journey for people out of the area who might need the services of a funeral director, e.g. if a parent or loved one who lived locally had passed away.
The Project
We restructured the previous site navigation, to create a new WordPress website that was more focussed on the needs of the visitor. We developed the content with a slightly younger audience in mind (adults aged 35-55), whilst still reflecting the heritage & ethos of this well-respected business.
The Outcome
By working closely with the client, we were able to come up with a really good balance between retaining traditional values and appealing to a wider audience geographically…
